After its resounding success in 2018, Tiqets’ Remarkable Venue Awards (RVAs) are back to recognize the remarkable work our partner venues do in helping us create fantastic visitor experiences.

Kicking off in Paris, Tiqets CEO Luuc Elzinga and Regional Director Olivier Roure presented The Remarkable Venue Award2018 at Les Vedettes de Paris. The winners were recognized for consistently delivering outstanding visitor experiences at France’s best museums and attractions, and the evening marked another successful opportunity for Tiqets to show their appreciation for these ongoing efforts.

Each event distributes awards based on criteria such as digital ticketing facilities, instant delivery of tickets, direct mobile entrance, last-minute booking availability, popularity, and most importantly, how customers reviewed their experience of each venue.

While the French nominee list was full of quality venues but, there could only be one ultimate winner per category.  This year’s winners were Fondation Louis Vuitton for Best Museum, Crazy Horse Paris for Best Night Out, Musée Grevin for Best Attraction, Abbaye du Mont Saint-Michel for Best Historical Site, Open Tour Paris for Best Sightseeing and Musée Jacquemart-André for Most Remarkable Venue (a special award presented to the newcomer of the year).

During the winner announcements, Luuc expressed his enthusiasm for Tiqets’s collaboration with its French partners: “It’s always a pleasure to be in Paris, one of the first cities we launched. We’re proud that in the four years since we launched, we have already helped more than 1 million visitors enjoy Parisian Culture. The Remarkable Venue Awards is a great moment for us to show our appreciation to our partners”.

The 2019 RVAs will also do the rounds in London, Rome, Barcelona, Vienna, Amsterdam and New York. Check out our Press page for more info and news on each event!
